RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGY

The Two Year Diploma Course enable students are Allied Health personnel, Who Play a Variety of supporting roles in Health care. This course provide an overview of basic Health Care issues, followed by training in a few specific testing and Procedural skills.

This program trains candidates to perform the many tasks performed by medical Technicians working in clinical Laboratories, Emergency, and wards or in hospitals settings. They learn how to prepare specimens, operate testing machinery, chart results and prepare samples for review by a physician or other specialists. They may also run diagnostics to ensure the equipment is functioning properly. Training also includes stocking surgical rooms and assisting medical personnel in a variety of ways.

The Radiology Technician may be called an X-ray Technician; these workers don’t simply take X-rays. They may also work in labs performing CAT (computerized axial tomography) scans, or MRIs (magnetic resonance imaging). Some radiology Technician specialize in performing ultrasounds, while others primarily work as x-ray Technicians.


Eligibility : Matric Science with at least 50% Marks
Matric Science with 45% with F.Sc Pre Medical 50% Marks.
Age Limit 30 Years.
